Colorado Immigrant Justice Fund

Why We Do What We Do

In the United States, immigrants who are fighting deportation do not have the right to an attorney, forcing most immigrants to navigate the complicated legal landscape alone. Not surprisingly, only 3% - 5% of immigrants without attorneys win their cases, while immigrants with attorneys are up to 11 times more likely to win.

This is why we have created this sustainable model that will raise legal funds for immigrants who currently are, or recently have been detained, in detention centers around the country.

How it works

What happens after you donate? How do we distribute the money and help our immigrant friends? Volunteers who visit immigrants directly can apply for legal funds on their behalf. After a review process that helps us prioritize those with the most urgent need, we work to obtain legal representation for them.

Immigrant Stories

Since launching the fund in the summer of 2020, we have funded the legal services for a growing number of immigrants.
